Stylish, modern, chic - and yet still rustic and down-to-earth - is what happens on the Bühlberg. Hikers and walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers, skiers and snowboarders are catered for on "Lenk's most beautiful sun terrace" at 1,664 metres above sea level. And all the children who can let off steam on the huge playground right in front of the door.
In summer and winter, the restaurant serves authentic Swiss dishes with a modern touch, the best cheese and milk straight from the mountain pasture. And of course the classics of a mountain restaurant, because those who tackle the one- to one-and-a-half hour route on foot or by mountain bike often just fancy a good portion of Rösti.
But it's not only athletes who can be happy that the Lenkerhof manages the Bühlberg. Because there are many ways up the mountain: a large parking lot and a regular bus also enable parents or grandparents with prams, people in wheelchairs or simply those who don't feel like the tiresome uphill tour to take the comfortable path to the top. And from there the view over Wildstrubel, Wildhorn and the Plaine Morte is truly breathtaking.
The restaurant is suitable for disabled people, has ground-level access, adapted toilets and is accessible by means of public transportation.
The restaurant can be reached by public transport every hour from the bus station at Lenk railway station. You will find the exact times in the bus timetable. | |
